I keep receiving the same emails over and over everytime I open up my live mail. It also sends an error. I think that there is an email or emails that are not getting through and it resends them all. Can you please help? Thanks
Gary
Hello. So I've been searching the forums and can't find a problem quite like mine:
So I am in the process of mashing some family videos together through Movie Maker. I had about 20 minutes of video in the other day, saved and closed the project. Now, this morning when I opened it back up - half the audio is missing! It's strange because some of the videos have sound and some now don't! When I place the settings to show waveforms, they are only on the videos with audio still in tact.
What happened? Why would the audio stay on half the videos and not the other half? And it's not cut down the middle - the videos are interspersed with which play audio still and which don't. But they all used to play! When I originally added them I could hear them all with no issues!
I have not moved their locations and get no error messages. The audio is just gone from half!
Please help. I don't want to start over!
Thanks.
I do not know what this means or how to correct it. Error below:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Verizon (x.xxxxxxxx) account. Windows Live Mail couldn't log on to the e-mail server using secure password authentication. Contact your e-mail provider and verify that it supports secure password authentication.
To change this logon setting, in the folder list, right-click on the account name, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. In the Properties dialog, click the Servers tab, and then under Incoming Mail Server, select a logon option.

Using Windows Live Mail on Windows 10
For the last 4 years, I've been using Windows Live Mail on Windows 10 with no problems. Lately, items sent - received - deleted from today for example, reappear upon the next startup marked as unread. Would like to know how to fix.
I have spent several hours on the phone with a Microsoft Tech agent who was willing to go above & beyond for, as we're all well aware, Microsoft no longer supports Windows Live Mail. Unfortunately, although he thought the problem was repaired, it wasn't. I prefer the setup to any other email program or app I've seen - - including gmail.
Any help will be greatly appreciated - -
