Question about Outlook Express

Please help. I cannot send emails in Windows Live mail 2012, I get the below error.  I can receive emails but cannot forward or send new messages.

Please note I am a computer novice. Thank you in advance.

I am not able to send any emails as it gets stuck.in outbox and the message next to it shows- Couldn't send!

This happened in my.ohone as well as on live mail.

I'm running Wn7 Ultimate.

I go to Start > All Programs > Windows DVD Maker (yes, DVD Maker) and nothing opens at all

Restarted PC

Windows updates

Checked drivers

DVD R is inserted

Nothing. At. All.
