Hi I have just updated from windows 8 to 8.1 but unable to get the  windows essentials calender to show events on my lockscreen which is the modern one with the light house. Please can you advise.
I am using Outlook 2011 from Mac. Whenever I move an opened email into a folder, Outlook would delete the email permanently. This is really bad. In most cases, I want to move important emails into a 'Pending' folder so that I could reply it at a later time. But since I kept the email open while performing the moving operation, it caused the damage. Is this a known bug for Outlook? I have lost several of such important emails. Can this be fixed soon? (I posted this earlier and it happened again to me, stupid me! https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/cb8c0a04-096c-4d78-bd43-bdf29615dc64/moving-an-opened-email-to-a-folder-would-cause-the-email-deleted-permanently)

After several hours I finally got WLM 2012 to work on my new Windows 10 laptop.   However, when viewing incoming messages the subject is almost non-existent; Message List (automatic), Reading Pane (right and shows header), Calendar Pane.   Note:  My old laptop (WLM 2011 and Windows 10) no problem (same view set-ups). Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi,

I just downloaded and installed WLM newest version today, read all my emails from hotmail successfully.

Then I want to export Inbox to outlook format (.pst), but after I click "Next" button, a message shown:

"Windows Live Mail has stop working...." and then WLM restart again.

I tried many times, but still have the same issue.

     Could someone help?

I was wondering how do I turn on the key board back light on, on an Acer Aspire R14, sometime I have to use my laptop in the dark and since I have a hard time seeing the keyboard I wanted to know if that would help me a little more.

After downloading Windows 10 and being extremely disapointed in the Mail system, can't even create folders to organize emails, so I loaded Live Mail again.  Much better app, looks better and much more user friendly functionality.  It was working fine in Win 10 until middle of January then stopped bringing in new emails.  I have it loaded on an old computer with Win 10 and it is working fine.  Any suggestions?  I have checked my account connections and it seems to be fine.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Particularly on our trips overseas, my wife and I at various times take photos on our two phones and on my camera. Unfortunately, despite my efforts at synchronising the time across these devices, it never quite works. When I download all the photos into the file I create of our trip, some photos are out of actual sequence when sorted by Date, Date Taken or by Name. This means that when I view them on the Windows 10 Photo app, there are a number of annoying photos out of place. I would like to first sort the photos by Date and then apply a custom sort by drag and drop to organise them in actual sequence.

I would be grateful for a solution to this (by the way, I do not like the why the Photo apps tries to organise the photos for me).

When ever I begin editing photos in Photo Gallery a white box appears the top left corner of my image and won't disappear. It's not present on photos after I save them. Here's an example:
