Unable to Send & Receive emails in WLM

Hi I am getting the following error message repeatedly whenever I try to Send/Receive:

An unknown error has occurred.

Server: 'smtp.live.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8007007A
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 587
Secure(SSL): Yes

(Win 7 64bit)

Can someone help please.

Why does windows 10 feel like I’m going back in time 20+ years ?

Just bringing up a single photo is a joke .Windows essentials was a great program and you guys trashed it for this hunk of junk .Plus windows 10 won't let me download windows essentials .I'm returning my computer and will go back to using windows 7.0 on my old computer ...

Windows Live Mail connection

Windows Live Mail does not see able to connect to the internet and reports that the SMPT does not respond. I have checked all the connections and am still able to receive emails on my alternative Mail which I use as a back up. 

Lost Live Mail after reset

Following a Windows 10 update which caused problems with my start up, I had to do a system restore and then reset.  But I lost my Live mail.  Looking for advice as to how to retrieve please.
