Using Windows Live Mail 16.4.3528.0331 on Windows 7 x64 SP1 Pro with IE 11.0.20. Since DeltaSync doesn't work with accounts migrated to Outlook  Mail (Preview), I set up the account to use IMAP. This worked as intended the first week or two, but last week the program stopped synchronizing all folders. There is a very strange situation:

With Store special folders on IMAP server selected, this is the folder mapping:



reflecting the default names for the special folders at Outlook.com.

After resetting the folder list, the local folders are named thus:



but the ones at Outlook.com have acquired new names:

Folders created in the client are successfully uploaded to the server, but the client shows only the default folders with the Outlook.com folder names, while the server seems to have adopted the client's names for the default folders.

Only the default folders are synchronized.

What needs to be done to ensure that all folders are synchronized between client and server?
