I see the alert status for Mobile device users. However, I am on a laptop with windows 8, and touchscreen.

I just see error when I log in. I can view folders and see titles of emails already existing in my account. However, I cannot Read emails, Receive Emails, Send Emails. I cannot access my Contacts list either.

Is windows8laptop with touchscreen considered to be like a mobile device? because it does have apps?

I go through msn.ca and go to Hotmail. I can LOG IN. But that is about all that I can do.
