Outlook For Mac does not word after Maveriks upgrade

Upgraded to Maveriks - Outlook for Mac 2011 does not send, forward or allow switching of emails....
Reinstalled Maveriks - no difference.
Outlook worked fine before.
Suggestions appreciated.
