so for the past 6 days it has been touch and go.

i am running win 7 with office 2010.  i tried running 2013 but was so frustrated i gave up and thought the transition back to 2010 would work as it was weeks ago.

i set up a new outlook.com email account.  it worked a few months. then i ran into unrelated issues and reformatted my hd and installed 2010 version.

some of the things i have done

downloaded the outlook connector for 32 bit, and still had issues, so i set up a new profile and was able to run again.  it worked all day sat, sun and monday, and now again not receiving emails.

I have uninstalled the connector, removed the profile and recreated, i have tried installing as a pop with pop3.live.com-smtp.live.com, incoming server 995 outgoing 587 tsl and requires autho box checked.

still can;'t get an email

then i uninstall and reinstall. i can open my email and see all my folders.  it just sits on send receive box for hours.  earlier i deleted 32 sync  issue error message some referred to 5087? i think it was error, and i researched that and followed all the instructions, i uninstalled and re installed.

i am sending emails just fine. when i send the bos indicates completed but the receiving never stops processig and nothing comes in.

i just jumped onto another desktop to see if i am receiveing or sending from the outlook.com server.

nothing coming in the the outlook.com server email account either or going out.  so now i am wondering where the real problem is...

outlook.com is not working at all.
