I just tried to get help with live chat, and the guy wouldn't answer my question, was rude, and terminated the chat. He told me to come here, then I have to wait 24 hours for a response. He wasted a half hour of my time, then after coming here it took
me 20 minutes to figure out how to post a question.
I depend on my email working all the time and it has until today.
I use Outlook 2010 as my email client and suddenly the smtp server started rejecting my password. I'm using the same password I use for the web version of Outlook.com email. Also I use the same credentials for pop3 and smtp. The incoming server still
works. I can send from my webmail and receive it in my pop 3 account in Outlook. But when I try to do a test in the account settings it comes back with an error when trying to send, it says my password is invalid.
I'm using pop3.live.com for incoming and smtp.live.com for outgoing. Same credentials. Incoming works outgoing doesn't.
I hope someone can help me here. I have to leave now, but I'll check back later for replies. I don't think I can get the replies on my smartphone though.
