Hope someone can help. Probably an easy fix but I'm going round and round in circles.

I've had Outlook.com working for a couple of months.  However, broadband had problems so got that fixed and since then, I have nothing on Outlook.com.  It says it's offline and I don't know how to put it back "online", but even so, there are no messages at all showing in Inbox, sent etc etc.  I also get a message keep popping up - "Enter your user name and password for the following Server" then details.  Whatever I do, whether I cancel, exit, save etc it keeps coming back.

Help please, much appreciated.
