Outlook – Cant see old emails.

I am unable to see any e-mails that are not on the first page of my inbox.
The link that says "go to" is clickable and i can select a date, but it does not take me there.
Also when i search for an e-mail that i am 100% certain that is in my inbox, it does not appear, only my sent emails appear when i search.
How do i make it so that i can see pages 2 and on-wards of my emails? Super frustrating!

PHOTO: search for a person which only shows that i have ever sent them 1 email, when i regularly receive and send her emails. 
PHOTO 2: Only 1 page of emails.
