Outlook 2011 won’t show print dialog box when printing email

In Outlook, when trying to print an email nothing happens. Selecting File > Print does nothing, no print dialog box is displayed. Printing does work from other sections of Outlook such as Calendar and Contacts. The following error is logged in the system log when trying to print an email. Note that I've tried the usual fixes, delete prefs & cashes, rebuild database, etc and nothing has worked. This is possibly a bug that appeared when the OS X 10.10.5 update was installed.
