Help needed !

I am working on a MAcBook Pro. I instaaled Office 2011 for Mac.
When I peforme a search within all my mails then I encounter two problems:

1. Recently sent mail are archived with the date 1 jan. 1904
2. When I select the mail, my outlook shuts down and it tells me to build up my register again. When I choose for that, It does not make a change.
On the internet I can't find the selution for that.

Who is willing to help me out here.

I am living in The Netherlands and I speak Dutch, German , English and Spanish.
