I know exactly what has caused this problem so I'm hoping not to have to reinstall and loose my categories etc.

I have several emails set up on Outlook 2011 and one I do not use much - sent an email and requested SSL (as got a warning). I selected a few different options on requesting the SSL - not sure on what it meant but wanted to be safe and now it's hanging so I'm unable to inform exactly.

I have tried deleting the preference etc.. all suggestions from this article. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2409331/en-us does anyone know what I can do to stop it hanging?

I would love to be able to just delete this account from preferences and I would think that would solve it, but after ten seconds in it hangs so I'm unable.

Grateful of any guidance.
