I have recently installed the new version of movie maker from Windows Essentials onto my Elitebook. 

I am used to using an ancient version but decided I needed a new one on my new laptop.

On all the tutorials it looks very like the old one, but nothing like the one I have just installed.

I need to be able to adjust the length of my clips and add transitions but cannot seem to get it to look like this: 

Instead, it looks like this

I don't know how to get it onto the above setting! I really need to alter the length of my clips and add transitions. Please help!
