Hi, 

I have an exchange email account which began to run very slowly on outlook on my mac. I archived a lot of old emails and the problem got worse- the colour wheel of death and nothing appearing on the screen when I type. The progress bar shows the new archive folders trying to sync but after 48 hours they have hardly moved. Outlook is taking most if not all CPU capacity, 70-100%.

How do I stop it/correct it?

Whilst writing does anyone know a fix for the problem of attaching photos to emails. I used to be able to do it but after 'upgrading' firmware and software versions I no longer can. Photos have to be dropped onto the desktop, imported to a word document and then attached. this is madness. The mac is on 10.11.3 and outlook is 14.6.1.
