After installing the Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 14.5.6 Update I'm no longer able to use my Main Identity folder which resides on a special data partition. It appears the update changed the way Office:mac looks for the Main Identity. Why?

(Background: I need to start the Mac from various partitions in order to test software in different environments. Until now this was almost no problem: restart - press ALT - select boot volume - go. With an alias in the respective Microsoft User Data folder I was able to access the Main Identity from any partition. Looks like this "feature" has gone.)

Please, programmers, bring it back with the next update.
