Although I can access SkyDrive on my PC (naturally) and at skydrive.live.com in my browser, the two are not coupled. The  cloud in the Notification Area is dark grey and hovering over it says "Skydrive not signed in", clicking on it says "Skydrive is uptodate / last updated 41 mins ago / Open your SkyDrive folder", the latter being a hyperlilnk to my local PC directory.

Since I can and am signed in to Skydrive via IE10, and there is no trouble with my local copy, how am I supposed to become "Signed In".

(SkyDrive is so good when it is working, but I have had problems of this sort since I first started using it. I have had to uninstall and reinstall my local SkyDrive app a few times to get this reconnected. It would be so nice to get it sorted once and for all.)
