I'm working with Windows 8 on an ASUS PC. Firefox is my default browser.
I set up an alias with my existing account to be used strictly for work communication. When I log in, using my alias, I am taken to my "regular" inbox and I see the emails that normally go to my other address. I should be receiving emails from a contracting site to my work alias, but I don't know how to access those emails.
I have already:
Made my work alias my primary address
Set up a rule that automatically sends all my work emails (to the work alias) to a specific folder

I requested the website to send me another confirmation email, but no such email has appeared in my inbox or my specially designated folder.
