I've signed on to a social networking website a year back using an email account that I havent used since. A few days back the social networking website forcefully logged me out and reset my password, stating that I should select the 'forgot my password' option and that a link to reset my password and regain access to my account would be sent via email.

I logged on to my email account after that time of inactivity, finding all the emails erased, I sent and received emails as soon as i reactivated it to check that it was working, and everything was fine. However when I selected the 'forgot my password' option and entered my email address, I never received the reset password email from the social networking website. After numerous attempts I've had no luck.

I checked the social networking website's support page, and followed all their steps (checked it was the right email, whitelisted the social networking website's domain, etc) however, I have yet to receive the reset password email from them.

My friend tried the 'forgot my password' option using his account and he received the email from them immediately.

Could any please help me out here.
