I'm encountering the problem of not being able to send emails (to any email address) from Windows Live Mail. (I am able to receive all emails fine.) The error that is shown is "The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email [SMTP] server might need to be configured. To find the server settings for ... , please contact your email service provider. ..."

I did what you suggest above. In other words, I did "Repair all Windows Live programs", and I re-added the email account I want to use on Windows Live Mail. But the same error was shown when I tried to send an email... What is it that I could be doing wrong?
