I found a similar problem here but no solution.

I have a Nokia 300 with a "mail" application. It worked fine for several months but last month it stopped connecting to hotmail, with the message: "Unnable to connect. Try again later."

If I try to erase my account and create a new one I get the same message. The app is updated to the latest version, and the only settings available are: select domain (I can select "hotmail.com" or type it in manually), enter name, enter password, save password (yes/no).

Other email accounts work normally. My mobile operator insists that nothing has changed on their side recently.
