I'm trying to edit a movie (2+ hours long) on Windows Movie Maker and every time I add the video to the software, there is no video but only a black screen. Audio is working fine.

I tried to add shorter videos (7 mins or so) and they seem to work fine.

I have also uninstalled and re-installed Windows essentials and video stabilisation is also set to 'none'.

How do I fix this?

(not a computer expert so lay terms would be appreciated)

Thanks!
