I have Windows 7 with 2012 version of Movie Maker.  I have used it many times in the past.  Now I am trying to create a new project and have discovered that the images do not show up in the time line box/screen when the line moves across them. 

I have considered reinstalling Movie Maker, but I have another project that has many photos in it but is not yet complete.  I am afraid that I might lose all of that work.  The time line box also shows black in that project, although it worked when I was previously working on it.
