Hi
I'm not computer literate so please bear with me.
I've just bough a new Dell PC with Windows 8 installed and I use Windows Live Mail as my email server on my GMAIL account.
Everything was working ok but suddenly I cannot delete any messages and I get the following message:
Message 1: "No Folder [gmail]/trash (failure)"
Message 2: " Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors below for more details.
Unable to send or receive messages for the Gmail (piking1943) account. Header download for the "Trash" folder did not complete. Could not select "Trash" on the IMAP server. Try updating the folder list and try again.
Server Response: NONEXISTANT Unknown Mailbox [Gmail] / Trash (now in authenticated state) ( Failure)
Server: imap.gmail.com.
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8000CCCD2
Protocol: IMAP
Port: 993
Secure(SSL): Yes"
My new PC replaced a Windows 7 system and I've been experimenting with settings and stuff so I've probably done something that has caused this fault.
Sorry but can you please help.
Peter I King
