I recently bought a new webcam. It's a Blue Microphone Eyeball 2.0. I successfully installed it, used it with Skype, so I'm confident it works. I filmed a short test video using Windows Movie maker, but when I played it back, there was no audio. So, I brought in another video from my library, still no audio. I started searching the web for answers, and someone suggested I stop and restart the Windows Audio selection under Services, so I tried that. Still no audio. Another post stated that I should make sure I have the latest version, so I followed the link and reinstalled Windows Essentials. Still, no audio. It is interesting to note that the test video I recorded, once saved as a movie, played fine with full audio in Windows Media Player. There is something else wrong.
