I am trying to import videos I've recorded with my cell phone into movie maker, however when I preview the video from within movie maker, there is no audio. I am moving the video files from my phone to my laptop and saving them, then using
the file from the laptop to put into movie maker. If I just play the file on my laptop, it plays just fine. I only lose the audio when I am trying to play it in movie maker. I checked the properties of the video and they are in .MP4 format. I saw another post
here and floowed the steps in it, but they were no help. The microsoft fixit tool for codecs also apparently isnt compatible with windows 8.1
