I am just trying out OUTLOOK.COM and tried logging in with my email e.g. *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. for the first time.

I then see the inbox etc.. and I try to send emails and  also to receive it, but no joy.

To explain... I have not set any POP or SMTP settings ( I can't see where to do this)

I am sure that is not a matter of logging in without first setting up the email credentials so please explain what I need to do.

I would also like to send and receive other account emails (rather like IMAP does)  can OUTLOOK.com do this?
