I don't know if I triggered this by signing into Outlook.com (I use a hotmail, not sure if that matters), but since I reinstalled my Windows 7 on a larger hard drive, I can't get Windows Live Mail to open after I've signed in, I keep getting error 0x8E5E0247, "Your calendar contains corrupt data that is forcing Windows Live Mail to close".
Well, I've never used the calendar in Live Mail, and I don't plan on using it; I don't know why that's required for me to check my email there. Sometimes I check my email at Outlook.com because I'm on a different computer; I did notice something about the "new" outlook, but I didn't think it would break my calendar that I never use on my laptop that would then break the email feature.
Is there some file I can edit to make it so Live Mail skips checking the calendar? This is kind of ridiculous at this point, as Outlook.com is inferior to Live Mail (I don't use a tablet, which it seems to be built for), with its oversized text and bloated empty space everywhere, I simply can't see as many emails per screen, nor as much information per email at a time, and it doesn't appear I can add multiple accounts there nor do I have as many options there either. Is there some older version of Live Mail I can install that won't update and break because of a calendar I don't use?
