I need help! 

On my 'older' (not that old) desktop computer I use Windows Live via a Gmail account (it combines 4 different accounts).  I bought a new laptop with Windows 8 and Outlook is the email component. I can't seem to export my contacts from any of the email accounts or Windows Live (Mail?). 

I Google searched it and found what seemed to be the correct directions (transfer gmail contacts to outlook).  After all the steps, I receive an error message that says: "Could not complete the operation because the service provider does not support it."

At this point, I don't know what the difference is between all these email accounts, service providers, and/or how to easily access them all in one place.
