I have been given .wlmp files that have been made using Windows Live Movie Maker Beta. I can't open them on my version of the software as there is a compatibility issue. Many people have had problems with this.

Is there somewhere I can download Windows Live Movie Maker Beta from a SAFE supplier? I have had a look around and many of the places that say you can download it are actually giving you some virus or malware. Does Microsoft still provide the software?

If it is not possible to safely download it, is there any other way of making the files compatible with the latest versions of WLMM?
