Naming images (and resulting folder) as you copy them from your camera to your computer.    This used to be easy on recent versions of Windows.

When you plugged in your camera the option appeared saying, e.g. 131 images found, with a box to enter a name which was used on every image + an increasing  number (Jane 001, Jane 002, Jane 003 etc.) and the folder copied to the Pictures file was called by the same name (e.g. Jane).

How do I restore this system to Windows 8.1?

Following 'advice' in an earlier question I loaded 'Windows Essentials' (again) but this does not seem to help.

Using 'Photo Gallery' I can name the folder the images end up in but not the images themselves.
