Good day.
Noel and others may well recall the challenges I'd been facing with my previous installation of WLM12, which resulted in badly fragmented folders.
I now have a new installation of WLM12 in my new w7Pro OS and drive. I'm in the process of reconstituting all the folders from all the fragments which seem to have survived the trip from my old drive, mounted as a separate partition for now, plus the external backup of the email I'd been using on a laptop, used for several months in between old and new builds. Thanks to all who attempted to assist in that previous mashup.
My issue/question is that for whatever reason, my WLM12 installation on my temporary fix of my W10 backup laptop behaves exactly as I'd experienced from the beginning in gmail, on all of my previous installations of WLM12 and its predecessors, all the way back to Outlook Express. That is, when I send a mail (POP3), it, of course, immediately is known in the Gmail web site, in the sent file there. However, if I then refresh my WLM12, it fetches that as a new incoming mail. That behavior is not present in my new installation; refreshing does not pull any sent mail into the inbox.
I find that (pull the sent mail from the server as incoming mail) to be much more convenient when I'm trying to find something than having to go to the 'sent' file in WLM12. The fact that a current computer (the W10 laptop) still does that behavior suggests it's not a gmail/web version issue
Have I missed something in my setup on my new computer, which makes it so that it doesn't get those 'sent' mails from the POP3 web as all my prior installations have?
Thanks.
