I am using Windows 7 and want to edit a .mov video I recorded last week. I am using the newest version of Movie Maker that I downloaded last week.

When I add the video to my project, it shows 8 rows of the same frame over and over and over and says it is 12 minutes in length, which is correct, but when I try to play it, there is no picture or sound -- just a black screen as it scrolls through the frames.

The two other videos I recorded the same night load and play perfectly, but this recording will not. By the way, this recording plays perfectly with Windows Media Player, so I know it's all there.

What could be the problem, and what is the fix?
