Very recently my tablet stopped sending email from the stock email app I have always used for my Hotmail. It has been about two weeks, maybe, and I didn't know until I tried to forward something to my son. My email just sits in my out box. I've tried deleting the account on my tablet and reconfiguring it several different ways based on advice on these threads and others. Nothing is working. I've also deleted my browsing history, cleared the cache, and changed the settings.

I don't want to use another app (Outlook) for email, I want to use the stock app. However I did download the Outlook app from the Play store, and even THAT won't send emails!!! What is going on??? 

Please help, it's extremely frustrating. I use my Hotmail as my main email, but if this continues, I'll make the tedious switch to all Gmail...
