Hello, I am using Windows Live Mail as my email client on Windows 7.
Within the last few days, my hotmail account stopped syncing with Live Mail. I use a number of other email accounts from other servers and they are all functioning/syncing normally with Windows Live Mail.
I have tried going through all of the recommended steps related to my error message including:
-Deleting and re-adding the hotmail account to Live Mail
-Checking that my system is up to date and that I have the latest version of Windows Live Mail
-Checking Machine Configuration settings
-Checking internet explorer settings
-Accessing the account using POP3 (This works to recieve emails but I am not able to send them. This is also not useful as folders, contacts, etc. are not synced with this method.)
All I get with the account in Windows Live Mail is a message saying: "Windows Live Mail is syncing this account please check back in a few minutes" but nothing ever happens.
When I send/receive the account, I get the following message:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (drew_goldsack) account.
Server Error: 0x80072EFF
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EFF
