Hi

Background'

About 2 months ago (could be longer) I changed my MSA primary login email from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to an alias I had associated *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (this change was shortly after the announcement of the availability of outlook.com.au email aliases).

I have a Windows Phone (upgraded to a new one which prompted me to change primary email addresses), and five devices, a Desktop, an ultrabook, Surface Pro, Surface RT and Work Desktop, which have all been running Windows 8 fine, recently upgrading all to 8.1. I also have an Xbox 360 on the same MSA.

Last week I was fortunate enough to grab a new Surface Pro 2. Even though I have logged in with the same new MSA email as the other devices, this device will not sync correctly (PC settings etc), nor allow apps to run properly i.e. Xbox Live games when installed and opened either cannot to Xbox Live or asks that I should uninstall and reinstall using the original account I purchased it under, (but reinstalling makes no difference), and apps such as Encyclopaedia Britannica that should 'login' properly once installed, has a 'Log-in' icon displayed and does not pick up that I have a full subscription. Bejeweled Live simply prompts with an "Xbox Error, Sorry, we're not sure what happened. Try again, or check back later."

My thoughts were, either my account is damaged and even though the limit is now 81 PCs, perhaps my account has not taken the change from 5 devices only?

When I open Store on any of my devices (even the new one), and go to Settings, Your Account, Your PCs, my six devices are listed here.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Troy
