Photo Gallery in Windows 10 stops working seems to be a problem for many........ None of the posts so far have been able to solve the problem.

I am running Windows 10 on a desktop HP. I have re-installed Gallery using essential 2012 and no other programs form Essentials, just Gallery. I have used MS "fix", scf/scannow, chkdsk, renamed my photo file to old_XXXXX,ran MS updates. HELP!
