Moviemaker project completed successfully, and saved used the recommended method creating MP4 video.  This video has been copied to a memory stick and plays perfectly on my TV.  However, I need to burn a CD for elderly relatives and it seems impossible.  When I open either the project, or the MP4 in Moviemaker and click on 'Burn a DVD' it opens another window asking me to save the movie as a Windows Media Video File.  I tried this, and then burning a DVD, but when trying to play it on DVD player it did not recognise the format.

If I go straight into Windows DVD Maker (I have Windows 7 OS), then try to add the MP4 video made in WMM it says 'the file is not a suuported file type and cannot be imported'!  Aren't WMM & Windows DVD Maker meant to work with each other?

I have a Panasonic DVD player that has previously played DVD-R without any problems and I just want to do the same again.  I previously used Roxio My DVD Premier on my last computer.

I cannot understand what has gone wrong.  Should I try installing Roxio again or will there be a conflict?  Or is there a simpler solution?
