Hi!

I am new in making movies. So far I have experimented with low resolution creations and had much fun. Now I want to make a quality HD output, but I encoutered a problem: Caption and Title and AutoMovie Themes cause HD resolution to appear as the magnified low resolution video.

As soon as I add a text Caption or a Title or I select an AutoMovie theme, the image quality drops (can be seen immediately on Movie Maker monitor window and on the resulting output file).  This problem makes impossible to create a decent HD video output equiped with a title or other movie text elements. The output file properties show the selected output HD resolution, however, the image quality is very poor.

Experimntally I found out that until no text is added to the video project, the output video is fine (e.g. 1920 x 1080). But as soon as the text element is added the quality of image drops and can not be restored even if the text element is deleted. To gain the HD video resolution MovieMaker must be closed and re-opened (without any text element, of course).

Some tech environment data:

OS: Win 7 64 bit, duly updated

Movie Maker: V 2012, build 16.4.3528.0331

Input files at least 1920 x 1080: *.avi, *.jpg

Can anybody help me, please?
