Hey, I've been working on a project for about 20 hours now and it is 25 minutes long. It includes photos and videos and audio files. Yesterday night when I tried splitting one of the videos (I had done this multiple times without problems) movie maker stopped responding and I lost the view of the timeline completely. Now when I open up my project the same thing happens. I cannot see the thumbnails which means that I can't edit the video. I only see a funny little image (I think is the logo) usually, although sometimes the black line appears where it follows the video(Two screenshots attached). I can still see the movie in the preview screen, although now it will take a while before it decides it wants to play the audio files and often at the bottom it remains saying item 1 of 491 even though it has changed to a different item. To get the music to play I actually have to go to the position of the second audio file (where the item changes to the correct item) and then go back to the beginning and the first audio file will then play. When I go to preview full screen, all I get is audio and no visual and I can't exit this full screen by pressing escape, I have to go to task manager, to then bring up the task bar at the bottom to then right click on the icon and close window. (It won't let me get to the task manager because the black screen takes up the whole page minus the taskbar at the bottom). When I go to View and then Thumbnail size and then try to change the size of the non-visible thumbnails I get an error message. (attached is a screenshot). Please help because this was going to be a very special Christmas present for someone and I have spent a lot of time on it.
