As of about an hour ago Movie Maker stopped being able to successfully split clips. It was working fine up until this point. Now whenever I hit the split button either nothing happens or all the other clips in my movie disappear or go black and are unable to be played.

I tried closing and restarting the program, restarting  my computer, repairing the program, and uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but it still has this same issue.

This is not the first malfunction I have experienced with this program and I am starting to become extremely dissatisfied

How can this problem be fixed?
