Move Maker - View tab

Was trying to keep the picture in the display screen from jumping to a tiny little picture, and clicked to revert to default settings to see if that was the correction.  All my time line images jumped to single pictures that lasted the same time, but they used to be in strips that increased or decreased in length according to the time length I would set them.  It is impossible to edit each frame this way!

How do I get the images to go back to strips?  The video clips seem to be shorter, too.
