Movie Maker suddenly started generating the following video file error messages shortly after I open any project:
Do you want to remove "FileName.mp4" from the project? The file might be corrupted or in a format that Movie Maker doesn't recognize. This movie can't be saved or published until FileName.mp4 is removed from the project.  Error: 0x80070057

When I first open Movie Maker it works properly for a few minutes and allows me to perform all actions until the error messages appear (including saving a movie) and correctly completes any function it initiates.  By closing and restarting Movie Maker I can continue editing a project, however the amount of time before the error occurs becomes significantly shorter and after a few cycles of that the error message appears immediately and I need to restart my computer in order to access a project.

This is happening with every single project and video file, including new ones, and the files and links themselves are fine (they're intact and the names and locations are unaltered).

I'm using Movie Maker 2012 (Build 16.4.3508.0205) with Windows 7 with .mp4 video files
