Occasionally, I experience an "ear ****" sound whenever I try to play audio and/or video using Windows Movie Maker; this is on my new laptop that did not come with Windows Essentials pre-installed.  When I had Windows Essentials pre-installed with my Toshiba laptop; I never had this issue.
