So I'm going to ask here, because I've had 3 people tell me they've never had anything like this happen to them.

Movie maker NEVER, and I mean... NEVER works properly.

It either green screens my frames after clipping or editing them, or it black screens them.

When I go to master a file it will occasionally freeze right in the middle of doing it.  (Regular occurrence)

The phrase Movie Maker has stopped responding is now synonymous with not working at all.

Is it normal for Movie maker to stop responding 3 times for every 5 hours you use it?

Tonight it did a new trick.  After green screening stuff I'd worked on for 3 hours, making it useless, and then freezing AGAIN, when it came back on after restart, and I hover the mouse cursor over my story board... every set of frames my cursor touches disappears !!!!!!!!!

I've tried uninstalling and re installing a couple times, doesn't matter.

Is anybody else having these kinds of problems, and does anyone know how to fix them?  Or should I just buy a Mac?
