I've been experiencing issues with splitting narration in video projects. I've this one project in particular where I've had to split one section (that is one split before and one split after a section of audio that I would then delete) of the narration in particular to make a correction and rerecord, however, I now need to do that again later into the video, but whenever I need to split the audio tract a third time, all of the audio tract past this third split would be deleted.

What is going wrong here? How can I make another split in the narration without losing most of it?
