I have gotten a good way into making a slideshow.  Every time I open the program, I get the message "Movie Maker has stopped working...A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I am using Movie Maker on Windows 7.

I have downloaded the latest version from Windows Live.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing.

I have tried going to Movie Maker/Properties/Compatibility and running in compatibility modes for older operating systems.

Nothing helps.
