I have Windows Movie Maker 2012, running on a Windows 7 64-bit PC. When I play pictures and audio in a MM project, everything works fine. When there is a video in the project, the preview window is black and MM freezes when I try to play anything. In addition, it does not preview any other content. The videos I use are usually in the .wmv or .mp4 formats. Everything worked fine in Windows Live Movie Maker 2011. I have reinstalled WMM12, I have installed relevant updates and I have checked the codecs.

This seems like a problem no one has been able to fix.

I hope to find a solution.
