I created wmv and mpeg movie files with my movie maker for vista. Now I updated to movie maker for 8.1 and this new version is not recognizing the files that were previously created by the same software. Also the mswmm files do not work. I am getting ready to convert tapes to digital and need to also know that movie maker will accept them
